Dr. Michael Drane

Live from Seattle, Washington Dr. Michael Drane is the host and creator of Unpopular Culture, Trust Me I’m A Therapist, & Doctor Psycho Podcasts. He graduated with honors from Arizona State University with a Bachelors in Psychology. Shortly after, he received his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University in 2015. In 2022 he graduated with a Doctorate in Clinical Education and Supervision at Antioch University, Seattle.

Having served in the mental health field since 2008, he specializes in serious mental illnesses like Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Conduct Disorder, and Psychopathic Behavior. His background in forensics and as a psychotherapist fuels the professional content on this podcast.

Presently, Michael maintains a private practice in Seattle, WA. He spends much of his time mentoring young clinicians on subjects such as Abnormal Psychology, Psycho-diagnostics & Treatment Planning, Psychopathology, Developmental Psychology, and Counseling Theory.
